COCO PAPEL is a premium hookah accessory brand specializing in high-grade natural coconut charcoal (Naturkohle aus Kokosnussschalen). The goal of this project was to design an exclusive “VIP” edition packaging system that merges iconic pop-art artwork with luxury hookah lounge aesthetics.
For the project, we developed a high-contrast visual identity centered around a luxury “Papel” concept, creating a vibrant box design engineered to position the product as a flagship offering across retail shelves, hookah lounges, and e-commerce platforms.
What We Did
The packaging was engineered to elevate the brand with a distinctive VIP identity, combining eye-catching pop-art storytelling with precise technical packaging standards for global distribution.
VIP Brand Concept
We established a high-end “VIP” sub-brand identity featuring a vibrant pop-art interpretation of classic currency artwork with iconic portraiture, giving the product an exclusive and trendy personality.
Gold Typography
We incorporated metallic gold “VIP” lettering and clean white typography against a deep matte black lower panel, establishing an immediate hierarchy of quality.
360-Degree Graphic Panels
We designed dynamic geometric artwork across the side panels and top closures, creating a cohesive visual experience that captures attention from any viewing angle.
International Compliance
We organized key product specifications (64 pieces, 26 x 26 mm cube dimensions) and integrated a structured multilingual information panel complete with country flag icons for international trade compliance.
Print-Ready Dielines
We produced print-ready box die-cut templates (dielines), optimizing high-density ink profiles for rich matte blacks and high-contrast color saturation for production.
Atmospheric 3D Visualization
We created realistic 3D product renders set against dark slate stone, ambient smoke, warm glowing rim lighting, and natural coconut elements for use in digital marketing campaigns and catalogs.
