Farm Calculator is a Telegram-based agricultural management bot designed to help farmers keep track of their farm activities, finances, and basic field calculations in one simple conversational interface.
The bot combines practical farm record-keeping with a lightweight calculation toolkit, allowing users to manage farm profiles, record income and expenses, calculate profitability per decare, track seasonal records, and calculate fertilizer quantities based on a user-provided application rate.
What We Did
The bot was designed as a simple digital assistant for farmers, turning everyday farm management tasks into an accessible conversational experience inside Telegram.
Bot Concept & UX
We created Farm Calculator as a friendly digital farm assistant that guides users through farm setup, financial tracking, seasonal records, and calculations.
Farmer Profile
The onboarding process collects essential information such as the farmer’s name, farm name, location, farm area, and main crop, creating a basic digital farm profile.
Farm & Crop Management
Users can define their farm area using square metres, decares, or hectares and select from a list of agricultural crops or add a custom crop.
Profitability Calculations
Farmers can review total income, total expenses, overall profit, and profit per decare, helping provide a clearer picture of seasonal farm performance.
Fertilizer Calculator
We developed a simple fertilizer calculator based on the user’s field area and application rate. Bot performs mathematical calculations only and does not recommend fertilizer types.
Telegram Development
The entire experience was developed specifically for Telegram, using conversational flows and interactive buttons to make farm management accessible from a mobile device.
The Result
The result is a lightweight agricultural management tool that combines farm record-keeping, financial calculations, fertilizer quantity calculations, and real agricultural data in one Telegram experience.
